Spellbound - My October Ipsy GlamBag

Spellbound is the theme of October's Ipsy Glam Bag.  The I love the little detail of the zipper pull being a bat.  I am looking forward to trying out all of these products.  As always I'll do a full review on my YouTube channel once I've had a chance to play around with them for a bit.

The first thing I pulled out of my bag was the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion.  It glides on so smothly which I like because I don't want to tug on my eyes.  While it does dry down, you have some time to smudge it out if you want to.  The full size is $20 and the sample is valued at $13.

Next was the Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation from Makeup for Ever.  It's very lightweight and gives a medium coverage (but could be built up to full).  It gives a even, natural looking skin.  The full size is $43 and the sample is valued at $7.

The StudioMakeup Gloss in the color Kiss was third in the bag.  It claims to have a sweet smell, but I didn't care for the smell.  It says that it's kiss and drink proof.  I didn't fully test it, but it did last longer than I expected.  The sample was full size and it retails for $9.

Something for my hair was in the bag as well.  I am curious to see how the Marc Anthony Hydrating Coconut Oil & Shea Butter Oil Treatment works out with my hair. It claims to be lightweight and hydrating.  It is not supposed to weigh down my hair, but only time will tell.  The full size product is packet for $1.50 and this sample is valued at $.75.

The last item in the bag is the First Aid Beauty Ultra Cream.  It's a multipurpose lotion you can use all over your body and contains soothing ingredients like shea butter, licorice root and white tea.  Plus it's great for sensitive skin.  The full size is $30 and the sample is valued at $6.  Use code IPSY1017 for 15% your purchase at First Aid Beauty.

I really love my Ipsy glam bag and it's such a treat each month.  If you want to check out what you can get check out their site.  If you want a free bag I can hook you up!  Just send me an e-mail and I will get a free bag sent out to you.  ;-)

Ipsy Glam Bag - September

I'm a little behind on my posting of this so I'll make this short a sweet!  The bag itself this month was very classic looking in a black color.  This bag gave some items that I totally love and others that are good, but I wasn't super excited to get.

What I totally love in this bag is the Elizabeth Mott Pop goes the Shadow in the color Toasted.  It's a metallic bronze color that lasts all day and is super pigmented.  The full size retails for $13.

The Organic Pharmacy Double Rose Rejuvenating Face cream has one of the best smells of a face cream (I just love it!).   It's very lightweight, but really hydrates my dry skin and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy.  The full size retails for $88 (that a bit much!)

I really like the Luxie Rose Gold Medium Angled Shading eye brush (207).  It's so fluffy and works great for cream and powder shadows.  Plus the bristles are synthetic and cruelty-free.  This brush is $12.

I had high hopes for the Smashbox Photo Finish Radiance Primer because it is a glowy printer.  While it didn't add in any extra glow, it did help my makeup look great and last longer.  It hydrates and evens out my skin and files in any fine lines.  The full size retails for $39.

The last thing in my bag was the Pixi by Petra Beauty Blush Due in Peach Honey.  I wasn't excited about this because I've tried this before in a different color and I didn't find it very pigmented.  I found that this was one the same.  It swatches great, but applies very light.  It retails for $18 (which I don't think it's really worth it).

I really love my Ipsy glam bag and it's such a treat each month.  If you want to check out what you can get check out their site.  If you want a free bag I can hook you up!  Just send me an e-mail and I will get a free bag sent out to you.  ;-)

Ipsy Glam Bag Time - August Style

Ok, so I'm a bit late sharing my August Ipsy bag, but it's still fun to see (I hope!), plus the discount codes will still work. ;-)  This month's bag came in three different options. I got the Wild and Free option and it's quite nice.

The first thing I pulled out of the bag
was a highighting powder in Champagne Campaign from Catrice cosmetics.  It claims to have a vanilla scent but I don't smell anything.  It's a subtle shimmer, but claims to be buildable.  You can check it out here and use code IPSY25 for 25% off your purchase of any Catrice product.  The highlighter is full sized and valued at $5.99.

If you are trying to hide something on your face instead of bringing attention to it the color corrector from Aurora in Pistachio will help cover up the redness.  Green is oppositie to red on teh color wheel which is why one blances out the other.  This cream is light enough to go underneath foundation or on its own.  Plus you'll get 20% off any Aurora purchase with code IPSY20.  The full sized color corrector is $8.99 and the sample value is about $4.

If you aren't looking to neutralize cover, but to bring some to your face the Pactficia Coconut Blush Duo would be great.  It's an Ipsy exclusive so you can't get it, but you may be able to find the shades.  It includes Beaming, a terracotta color, and Tenderheart, a mauve color.  Like many Pacifica products this one is made with coconut which brings some glow and anti-aging properties.  Take a look at what other Pacifica products are out there and use code Blush20 for 20% off your purchase.  This blush set is valued at approximately $14.

Mascara is one of my go two products even when I'm not wearing a lot of other makeup.  I received the Eyeko Black Magic Mascara in my glam bag.  IT's water-resistant and cruelty-free.  It has a cool wavy brush to get every last and the formula has keratin and shea butter to condition lashes.  I also think it's cool that it's in a squeezy tube.  The full sized mascara is $23 and this sample is valued at $6.76.

Lastly you have to always make sure you are taking care of your skin.  I was happy receive the Air Repair Skincare Super-Hydrating Eye Cream.  It has antioxidants like Vitamin C, green tea extract, and cloudberry seed oil fight inflammation, which means puffy undereyes will look way smoother after a few uses.  It also absorbs quickly so it own't impact the rest of your skin care and makeup routine.  The full size is $23 and this sample is valued at $4.60.  You can use IPSY for 20% any Air Repair products.

What is a lip manicure?

How cute are these liquid lipsticks from Jamberry?  I love how they look like little nail polishes!

These come as a holiday set so you can easily gift them to your secret santa (or to yourself).  Each gift set comes with two of the lip manicures (how cute is that name), a lip scrub to make sure your lips are baby soft and a sheet of nail wraps so your nails can have a manicure too.

Because these will only be around for a limited time I want to give you a little present if you order them.  E-mail me to place your order and I'll pay for your shipping!  Take a look at the sets here.
