January Ipsy Bag - what came in my bag and some discount codes

Every month you can find a YouTube video of my Ipsy bag and I always like to write a post to provide you with more information and some discount codes.  As always, these discount codes are usually good until the end of the next month from when the bag came out (so these codes will be good until the end of February).

The first product in the bag is from Pacifica and it is their Blushious blush in the color Wildrose.  It has a universally-flattering color and a shimmery rose color. FYI, it goes on a little lighter than it looks in the packaging.  The full size of this product is currently $9.60 (regularly $12) from Ulta (you can currently get and additional 20% off any purchase with code Pacifica2017).  The sample value is full sized.

Next up is a -417 hand moisturizer. This one absorbis in seconds and it has a very subtle scent (I hardly notice it). And let’s not forget the moisturizing part: Oils like evening primrose and olive, coupled with beeswax and shea butter, make this delightfully creamy and able to sooth even the most cracked, chapped knuckles. Take a look at their site and use code IPSY20MINUS417 for 20% off. The full size of this product is $17. The sample value is $5.11 which brings the bag total to $17.10.

A Trust Fund Beauty Lip Gloss in Method to the Madness also came in the bag.  It is very glossy with a super sublte color.  To be truthful, I didn't notice much of a color at all, but it's great for the no-makeup-makeup look.  This is an IPSY exclusive, but they are offering it for a limited time on their website.  The full size is $22.  The sample value full size, which brings the bag total to $39.10.

I was super excited to see that the Briogeo Rosarco™ Blow Dry Perfection Heat Protectant Crème came in my bag.  It has rosehip oil to protect from TV damage, coconut oil to seal in moisture, and argan oil to condition.  Plus it protects hair up to 425 degrees!  The full size is $24 and you can get it for 20% using code IPSY20 on the Briogeo website.  The sample had a value of $4.47 which brings the bag total to $43.57.

Last in the bag is Bahama Mama from theBalm Cosmetics.  This bronzer has brown undertones to give your skin a sun-kissed look.  It is matter, so you can also use it to contour, as a shadow or to fill in your brows.
The full size product is $22, but you can sometimes find it for almost 50% off at sites like Overstock.  The sample has a value of $1.76 which brings the bag grand total to $45.33.

So, once again Ipsy gives a great value.  My $10 investment turned into over $45 in products.  While I usually get over $10 in value back, I don't always love the products so it's not always a great value to me.  This month certainly was!
