2018 Sephora Birthday Gift

I recently picked up my Sephora Beauty Insider Birthday gift.  Although I went in 2017, I was given the 2018 gift.  I guess being that it was the end of December they ran out of the 2017 gift.  The 2018 gift comes from Bite Beauty and it comes with 4 sample products.

The first item is the Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Chai which is a
Mauve Brown.  This lipstick has been formulated to deliver moisture and be very creamy.  It also includes a blend of lip-quenching nutrients, vitamins, and omega oils that are essential for achieving healthy-looking lips. It is made with 12 edible oils and triple milled pigments, this lipstick provides saturated lip color with weightless coverage and a citrus flavor made from fresh pressed fruit.  The full sized lipstick is $26 and the sample is valued at $8.67.

The next item is the Matte Creme Lip Crayon in Glace.  Even though it's matte it provides a good amount of hydration.  The moisture-locking power comes from orange peel wax along with the antioxidant properties of resveratrol.  It is water-resistant and long wearing.  The full sized lip crayon is $14 and the sample is valued at $8.75.

It's always good to exfoliate before applying a matte lip product, so it's good that the Agave Sugar Lip Scrub was also included.  It cleanses, exfoliates, and conditions lips with raw brown sugar, pineapple enzymes and exotic oils.  The scrub is a triple-action, foaming lip scrub that’s infused with exotic oils, brown sugar, and pineapple enzymes. It cleanses and gently exfoliates, while the agave syrup moisturizes and conditions your lips.  The full sized lip scrub is $18 and the sample is valued at $1.25.

Last is the Agave Lip Balm.  It is a nourishing formula made from agave and rare Madagascan vanilla CO2 extract. Your lips will stay hydrated and protected all day long, making your lips look natural on their own. It also acts as a primer for any color application. The full sized lip balm is $18 and the sample is valued at $2.16.

Snow Globe - My December Ipsy Bag

"A splash of mint, a coat of silver, and a touch of sparkle—this month's Glam Bag is inspired by frosty days and twinkling nights. And it's great for stashing all your winter beauty essentials."  Let's dive right into what came in my bag.

Tony Moly The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Cream: A little trivia for you: “chok chok” means “wet” in Korean. It's a hydrating gel formula that absorbs fast.  It’s made with 63% fermented green tea extract (instead of water). That forms a protective layer over your skin to help shield it from pollution, free radicals, and other skin-damaging elements.  The full size product is $21.

City Color Shimmer Shadow:  The super smooth, easy-to-blend powder stays put and won’t crease, even after hours on the dance floor.  I love the bold color and can't wait to wear it all holiday season.  The full size product is $3.99

M·A·C Extreme Dimension Lash Mascara: The airy formula is whipped, so you get mega volume, curl, and length minus any annoying clumps.  The molded brush is pointed at the end, which means it grabs and coats even your teeniest inner corner lashes.  The full size product is $23.

First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser: This is a cleanser that refreshes, removes makeup, and digs deep to clear out our pores.  It’s infused with a botanical antioxidant blend that won’t leave your face with that uncomfy tight feeling.  The full size is $20.

Luxie Beauty Precision Shader Brush 239: This angled brush helps you evenly blend shadow into your crease (try using it in a windshield wiper motion), making a smoky eye easier than ever.  The super soft bristles are synthetic, so no furry friends were harmed in the making of your fluffy new brush.  The brush is $14.

What do you think?  If you are interested in trying out Ipsy, send me a message and I will get a bag sent out to you for free ;-)
